Latin America. Powersoft's Duecanali and Quattrocanali amplified DSP platforms are now available as optional to amplify Crestron's new Vector Performance speaker series. This announcement represents the first collaboration between the two companies, providing flexibility and additional options for integrators and end users.
Crestron's Vector Performance loudspeakers, which were launched at InfoComm 2017, provide superior sound quality for large performance spaces such as auditoriums, conference rooms and divisible halls.
"It is an honor to make this partnership with Crestron, a company that has continuously supplied high-level solutions for the integration market worldwide," said Luca Giorgi, Director of Sales & Business Development, General Manager North America, Powersoft. "We believe this relationship has tremendous potential and is the result of our continued focus and success in the installation market."
Both Duecanali and Quattrocanali are two- and four-channel amplifiers from a rack unit — ideal for small to medium-sized applications where the channel count is limited and the need for a flexible product to operate with high and low impedance is a priority. The series are available in a variety of power configurations, all of them presenting serious strength, making them the perfect solutions for spaces looking for crystal clear sound, total control and sustained output volume.
"We are pleased to collaborate with Powersoft by pairing their class-leading power amplifiers with our Vector Performance speakers and are confident that this will bring more options for our customers in the professional performance markets," said Bob Bavolacco, Crestron Collaboration Manager.
Vector Performance speakers are available with a 6" coaxial design up to 12" and 15" models, and dual 18" subwoofers are also available for high-impact systems. Each of these loudspeakers, which are now available with Powersoft Duecanali or Quattrocanali amplification options, feature an innovative coaxial transducer design that provides optimal sound, clarity and intelligibility for voice reinforcement and media playback in corporate environments.
The transducer in the Vector Performance speakers represents a revolutionary advance in coaxial speaker design. Its large diaphragm titanium compression driver allows uniform transition to the woofer providing better sharp/low alignment, smoother bandwidth performance and increased sound pressure levels without distortion. The compact high-frequency speaker design reduces the shadowing effect to produce incredibly dynamic and clear sound for both voice and music. Localizing high-pitched and bass drivers together results in less crossover interaction within the coverage pattern and provides ultra-uniform response.
