Brazil. The audiovisual and systems integration fair, TecnoMultimidia InfoComm, TMI, announced an agreement with SID to produce its Latin American conference for the display technology market - LatinDisplay, within the parameters of the TMI event in São Paulo.
To take place simultaneously with the Digital Signage Summit at the TransAmerica Expo Center, LatinDisplay is the continuation of SID's focus on the display technology community, and will be on one of TMI's three days, April 2-4, 2019. LatinDisplay has been produced every two years for over 15 years and has been important in creating the exhibition environment of Brazil and Latin America.
The Society for Information Display ( SID) is comprised of the best scientists, engineers, corporate researchers and entrepreneurs in the visualization industry, valued at more than $100 billion annually. SID was formed in 1962 to enact display technology, and that work continues today, publishing a monthly Journal of SID, information display magazine, and the annual Digest of Technical Papers.
"We are very pleased to welcome LatinDisplay to TecnoMultimidia InfoComm. We have been moving forward with integrators and end users of the digital signage community in Brazil with our Digital Signage Summit. With LatinDisplay, we will now be able to offer academic content that addresses the technological needs of the display industry as well," said Max Jaramillo, Director of TMI Brazil.
For her part, Alaide Mammana, Director of the CHAPTER of SID Latin America, said that "We are happy to partner with TecnoMultimidia InfoComm for the production of LatinDisplay next year. It fits perfectly with his Digital Signage Summit conference."
TecnoMultimidia InfoComm will have its sixth version in São Paulo and is the main trade fair and conference for integrators and users of integrated systems and pro/AV equipment with approximately 5,000 visitors. 2018 saw the opening of several focused conferences, including: • Control Rooms Summit • Intelligent Home Summit by AURESIDE • Live Events Summit • Education Technology Summit
Produced by Latin Press and AVIXA, TMI Brazil is part of the Latin American circuit with trade fairs in Brazil, Colombia and Mexico.
