Mexico. The sixth edition of the Bett Latin America 2018 educational event, which took place on October 11 and 12 in Mexico, was the stage chosen by Epson to present its different models of video projectors of its PowerLite and BrightLink lines with 3LCD technology for the academic field.
Mobility, flexibility, ease of handling and installation, good definition, interactivity and above all, high image quality and color, are some of the characteristics of Epson equipment that can improve the classes of users. "Transforming the Future of Education in Latin America" was the theme of the 2018 version of the forum that brought together more than 2,500 leaders and educators from the region.
The Epson video projectors that were exhibited at the forum range from standard and mobile models such as the PowerLite S39, X39, X41+, W39 to interactive models such as the BrightLink 695wi+ and the PowerLite 700U of ultra short distance, with laser technology. The key to all its equipment is the 3LCD system, which allows to have three times more luminosity and color than other brands, in addition to illuminating the same in white as in colors.
"We want to contribute to innovate the way in which it is taught in Mexico with our own and cutting-edge technology to make the classes in each classroom more attractive and that students feel motivated to learn, for example, it is not the same to see an exhibition on a flat screen than to enlarge the image to the size of a wall. Another of our proposals is to turn tables and walls into blackboards on which students can underline with their own hand or digital pencil a phrase or lesson through our interactive Projectors BrightLink, in addition to the fact that we include school content developed by the Santillana publishing house with which we have an agreement, "said Erik Martínez, Product Manager for Video Projectors of Epson Latin America.
The academic alliance between Epson and Editorial Santillana in Mexico began in 2016 and responds to a process of digital transformation of educational materials. It consists of including, along with the video projectors, a league of around 100 thousand school contents that are available from the Cloud for schools.
