Epson consolidates its line of laser projectors

Latin America. Epson presented its new laser projector solutions at ISE 2019. Among the most interesting launches for fixed installations is the family of Pro L projectors between 5 thousand and 7 thousand lumens, which replace the Pro G category of lamp projectors.

This new line points to Epson's objective of betting on markets such as hotels, museums, theaters, fixed installations and digital signage, as an alternative setting for different spaces, helping to generate new experiences for customers.

Gabriel Goncalves, Regional Business Manager of Epson Latam, assured AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that with these launches "Epson is increasingly filling its line of laser products. We started with the 25 thousand lumens projector as the main one, six professional projectors of between 6 thousand and 15 thousand lumens follow, a more compact line of projectors with fixed lens and we lowered the professional category with lenses changeable from 5 thousand lumens. "

At ISE 2019, Epson also pre-launched its 30,000 lumens LCD projector and with the same chassis as the 25,000-lumen projector, making it a compact project. Its applications are corporate events, mapping and large projections.

"The year 2018 for Epson in Latin America was more positive in some markets than in others, but in general we achieved good successes mainly in the professional line of projectors. We continue to be world leaders in projectors with around 37% market share and in Latin America we are going for 65%", concluded Gabriel Goncalves.
