Latin America. A few weeks ago the purchase of Atlona by the Panduit company was known. To learn the details of this business, AVI LATINOAMÉRICA spoke with Kaleb Ávila Director for Latin America of Panduit's Network Infrastructure business unit.
"With the acquisition of Atlona 100%, what we seek is to strengthen the portfolio of the entire enterprise line. Panduit thus becomes a global company with a complete audio and video solution, with devices or software for any type of user, whether residential or commercial," he said.
Panduit also seeks to reach other types of markets and customers, providing a comprehensive solution to end users through different types of channels. They are proposing the entire end-to-end audio and video solution complemented by the entire networking solution.
"Atlona has the production and innovation capabilities different from other types of manufacturers. In addition, it is a company with a lot of recognition in the North American market and with a global presence in Asia, Europe and Latin America. Reviewing clients and projects in Latin America, we have realized that Atlona was present in projects in which Panduit did not have access. We will also take advantage of AV/IT integration to grow in the market," said Kaleb Ávila.
Finally, the Panduit executive indicated that, for now, Atlona will continue to operate under his name and the two consolidated teams will continue to work under the defined strategy.
