Latin America. For its functions and features ideal for educational applications, the Casio LampFree XJ-S400UN projector, model of the new Superior Series family, has been recognized with a couple of awards in the North American market: the TCEA Best of Show of Tech & Learning and the Top New Technology Award 2019 in the category "Projectors for School Classrooms".
In the case of Tech & Learning's TCEA Best of Show award, the winning products are chosen by the most innovative educators in the United States of America. The participating devices were qualified in three areas: quality, effectiveness and the ability of the same to solve specific problems in the educational institution. Once the analysis is done, the jury meets with the editors of the publication Tech & Learning to decide which teams would receive the final seal of approval.
For its part, the Top New Technology Awards recognize those products evaluated by the specialized magazine Commercial Integrator and a panel of experts, who judge them based on their technological innovation, benefits they offer to the integrator and the way in which they solve the needs of the end user.
In both cases, the LampFree XJ-S400UN was awarded the best projector for the classroom for its innovative technology and robust range of additional functions.
This equipment incorporates a new generation laser-LED hybrid light source – the R-Hybrid Light Source – of high brightness and luminosity (4,000 lumens), which produces light and vivid colors, maintaining the same cost-benefit ratio typical of Casio projectors, including a long life of up to 20 thousand hours of use without the need for technical service. In a school environment, this equates to an 18-year operational cycle, with the projector working an average of six hours a day over a 180-day academic year.
Additionally, the projector includes a 1.7x zoom lens with WUXGA image resolution, and a set of useful Casio features for the modern living room (Educational Solutions). The Auto Input Search and One Click Connection functions allow teachers to start classes immediately when connecting a PC to the projector, avoiding the process of selecting the corresponding input each time it is turned on.
Among the wireless options is the remote Operation Projector/PC and the moderator function, with which teachers can choose their own computer as a projection source, or select any student and give the image on the screen to their computers. Student presentations, assignments, and assignments can be easily shared over the wireless connection, with up to 40 devices connected to the projector at the same time, or with four computers projecting simultaneously.
The Casio LampFree XJ-S400UN projector will be available for the Mexican market in the coming months.
