Brazil. The Brazilian cinema chain Cineplus has just equipped the premium room of its Jardim das Américas complex in the city of Curitiba with the Christie CP4325-RGB pure laser projector and the Christie Vive Audio sound system in conjunction with Dolby Atmos. The integration has been carried out by the Brazilian company Cinecompany.
With 420 seats, the room in question, named after TSX, is the largest in Curitiba, and is equipped with an impressive Severtson screen of 16.5 by 7.2 meters. The multiplex, located in the Jardim das Americas shopping center, has a total of six screens, two of which are also equipped with Christie projectors, in this case with the Xenon Christie CP4220 and Christie CP2215 lamp models.
Cineplus is a network of cinemas with a presence in the states of Paraná and Santa Catarina. It currently has seven complexes with a total of 19 rooms and more than 4000 seats. The Jardim das Americas complex was the first in the south of the country to have all its rooms in 3D and the first in Brazil with accessibility for the deaf and blind.
Marina Pastre, managing director of Cineplus, reviewed the reasons why her company decided to rely on Christie's pure laser technology for its premium room: "We had been able to appreciate the image quality of the CP4325-RGB in some Brazilian events such as Expocine and ComiCon, and the truth is that it caught our attention. The brightness and contrast it offers is unique, and provides an unparalleled experience to the public. In a market as competitive as that of cinema, being able to count on a new technology that adds value is fundamental".
Cineplus has also wanted to equip its premium room with the best cinema sound, and for this it has relied on the LA Series of Christie Vive Audio speakers to use in combination with Dolby Atmos. "These line array speakers offer superior performance and durability to other brands. The clarity and quality of the sound, mainly at Atmos, is really impressive. And not to mention the warranty conditions offered by Christie, superior to other brands with which we negotiated," said Marina Pastre.
With its RealLaser technology and CineLife electronic platform, the Christie CP4325-RGB pure laser projector is a compact all-in-one projector in line with DCI standards, which stands out for its high image quality, durability and low cost of ownership. It is the brightest model in the Christie RealLaser family of projectors.
