Mexico. With more than 65 participants, of which 69% were integrators, the KNX Day was held last Monday, June 24, in Mexico City. 23% of the participants were product manufacturers and the remaining 8% were classified as others.
KNX is the global control standard for homes and buildings. The KNX Association has representation in 45 countries and annually in each country an event called KNX Day is held, the objective is to show the local market the national offers of the technology. This year the organization for Mexico ran by Latin Press and KNX Mexico chapter.
Throughout the day of the event, held at the Crowne Plaza WTC hotel, there was the participation of great experts in the KNX market in the country, each with a 45-minute presentation.
In each of the presentations, various topics were addressed, such as the Internet of Things, energy efficiency with KNX, emotional home automation, BMS for building projects, and KNX from home automation to inmotics and their relationship with the smart city.
Sergio Navarro, from Tec de Monterrey, one of the attendees at the conference, stressed that "we think this type of event is a great opportunity to know what the vision of the industry is, to know the areas of opportunity, those that are already developed and to be able to meet with partners. It's a great opportunity to make known what you develop."
