Anixter seeks to change paradigms of the future in the industry

Mexico. After a few weeks of finishing anixter's most important technological and business event in Latin America, bringing together the most influential representatives of the industry for five days at the Hotel Xcaret Mexico, reactions are still being heard. The Envisioning The Future (ETF) is the highest-level event anixter has organized for its key channels in Latin America, along with its main business partners and several end users.

"We interact in a very interesting ecosystem for what is to come in the coming years. This event so organized, so well planned, so spectacular, was the propitious space for the manufacturer, as well as Anixter and us integrators, to re-think the business" said Guillermo Dold of Digital Function.

The success of Envisioning The Future was also achieved thanks to the active participation of Anixter's allied partners: Axis Communications, Belden, Bosch, Commscope, APC, Avaya, Barco, Corning, Panduit, Poly, Vertiv, CDVI, Hanwha Techwin, Iris ID and Oberon, who worked hard presenting the latest technological trends that generated incalculable value to the attendees.

"Great event! Envisioning The Future 2019 of ANIXTER for the main integrating channels of Latin America was fundamental in several aspects, perhaps the main one from my point of  view was to present and facilitate a transversal vision of various manufacturers and technologies for the evolution of business in the face of the digital transformation that impacts all customers, regardless of vertical market or geography, facilitating dialogue between the parties involved and enhancing business opportunities," said Charlie Morrison Fell. Enterprise Global Technical Director of Commscope.

Leopoldo Ruiz Alfaro, Regional Director, Latin America of Axis, also said: "I want to congratulate you on such a good, complete and high-level event. These types of events encourage the integration and expansion of market opportunities for the entire community. A pleasure to meet again with Anixter and so many industry-leading integrators that are undoubtedly the basis of our business in the LATAM region.

And Raúl Valenziano, Senior Vice President of CALA for Anixter emphasized in this regard: "The world is evolving rapidly and, as a team, all united: manufacturers, integrators, Anixter, we strive to be one step ahead."

The ETF 2019 fulfilled its objective of preparing participants for the challenges that the market brings in the coming years, but more than this, it set a pattern in trends related to Smart Cities, Data Centers, Edge Computing, MTDC (Multi-Tenant Data Center), Professional Audio and Video, IOT and 5G.

Meanwhile, Hugo Menegozzi, CEO and co-founder of Exanet said: "The event was very positive in every way, really sharing experiences with all similar integrators from all over the region is second to none. Appreciating the vision of the manufacturers is a high added value for us."

"We are all facing challenges to enable a much more connected world and this represents a unique opportunity for growth that we can capitalize on over the coming years," concluded Raul Valenziano.

Now, if you want to know why the nearly 80 channels in Latin America and the more than 150 attendees were surprised with each conference, each panel, the Breakout Sessions, the Experience Center, the interactive activities, we invite you to watch video by clicking here.
