International. Absen was the exclusive and official partner of the LED screens in the pre-season football competition. The Champions League Trophy returned to Shenzhen, China, on August 3 for its 24th edition, which saw Paris Saint-Germain face Off against Stade Rennais.
Absen was the exclusive and official SUPPLIER OF LED displays for the event, providing 200 perimeter LED panels and on-site support throughout the event.
The match, which was attended by more than 31,000 spectators, saw the Paris Saint-Germain champions retain their title after a 2-1 victory, making it their seventh consecutive Trophée des Champions title and their ninth overall.
The company in charge of management, Kaisa Culture & Sports, selected Absen's 9mm resolution LED perimeter display system for the event, which was installed on three sides of the field and used to play advertising and sponsorship content throughout the match.
In twenty-first century sports stadiums, where sponsors and their advertisements are an important cog in the machinery of football, LED perimeter screens have become an integral part of the overall stadium infrastructure.
With a high contrast ratio, refresh rate and grayscale, as well as an excellent viewing angle, Absen's standard UEFA sports display solution is able to maximise the value of sponsoring partners. The LED panels also feature an IP65 waterproof design and protective details for the player, such as the mask and soft module mat.
"To achieve the best results, the Absen team has been working very closely with the organisers, as always," said Allen Lyu, Absen's sports engineer at the site. "We monitored the system closely and conducted multiple tests before the match. I am very proud that the Absen system worked well and the content of the sponsors was exposed without problems."
