Caper announced some news for the show in 2019

Argentina. Caper Show, International Exhibition of Equipment and Services for the Professional Audiovisual Industry, whose 28th annual edition will be held in Buenos Aires from Wednesday, October 30 to Friday, November 1, anticipated how its Academic Program will be, which includes Conferences, Workshops, Master Classes and Trainings and Workshops.

This year the event will have about 2,000 m² of stands in which more than 450 international brands will present the latest technologies and solutions for the sector. As always, around 6,000 professionals from all Argentine provinces as well as from all over Latin America are expected, who come not only to know the equipment that is exhibited in the stands but also to be trained through the extensive Program of Technical-Academic Activities.

This year in particular, an extremely interesting activity for the AV Pro world is added. Recall that, although CAPER was born in 1992 as a Technology Exhibition for Broadcast and Cable, over the years audiovisual solutions for the corporate, educational and show markets have been incorporated into the event, having become the obligatory meeting of the region for the AV Pro industry. For this reason, this year CAPER and AVIXA, the organizing entity of Infocomm, join forces to offer, within the framework of CAPER 2019, a training entitled "Image Visualization: Essential Parameters and Calculations for the best experience of the attendees".

Since the experience of viewing images in large sizes is impacted by a series of factors that, if not considered and calculated correctly, can lead to an experience lower than desired and to decrease the effectiveness of communication, the objective of this activity is to train professionals on the audiovisual standards developed by AVIXA, that help in the correct definition of the critical parameters related to the visualization of images.

This training, which is fee-based and requires prior registration, will allow attendees to know these parameters and practice the essential calculations of image size, viewing distances, the minimum element of the image, the area of location of the attendees, define the image contrast, as well as the brightness and projection distance. Avixa's training at CAPER 2019 will take place on Thursday, October 31.

In addition, CAPER Show will offer visitors training in Fiber Optics, Podcast and Digital Television. On the other hand, the organizers confirm that they are working on the offer of academic activities at no cost to visitors, in which professionals from leading associations of the Audiovisual Industry will share their professional experiences with the public. Among them, ADF (Authors of Cinematographic Photography Argentina), AES (Audio Engineering Society – Argentine Section), APDA (Association of Drone Pilots of the Argentine Republic), CADERO (Argentine Chamber of Online Radios), DAC (Argentine Cinematographic Directors), DOAT (Directors of Audiovisual Works for Television), EDA (Association of Audiovisual Editors), INCAA (National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts) and SAE (Argentine Society of Audiovisual Works of Audiovisual Editors).

To facilitate the visit of professionals from the interior of the country as well as from abroad,  CAPER has managed preferential rates with Aerolineas Argentinas and with several hotels in Buenos Aires. This information, like other news of CAPER 2019, is available on the event's website, www.caper.org, and its social networks.
