Boxlight announced the acquisition of EOS Education

Latin America. Boxlight Corporation acquired EOS Education, a consulting and professional development company for the K-12 education market, for 100,000 common shares.

"This addition is part of our ongoing effort to provide a more comprehensive set of solutions in the education technology market. For technology integrations to be successful, teachers need adequate training, support, and ongoing professional development. By adding the EOS Education team, we can meet that need immediately and provide a stronger portfolio of end-to-end services that complement our hardware and software solutions, giving teachers the training they need to take full advantage of the range of possibilities in technology," said Mark Elliott, CEO of Boxlight.

He also brings to Boxlight a great administrative talent when Daniel Leis and Dr. Aleksandra Leis join the team. Together, with decades of experience managing high-growth professional services businesses in emerging markets and sectors, they will bring incredible synergy to Boxlight. Daniel will hold the position of Vice President of Global Services for Boxlight, while Aleksandra will continue in his role as CEO of EOS Education, which will now be a subsidiary of Boxlight.

"Boxlight and EOS share a common approach of providing the perfect combination of tools and services to meet the changing needs of teachers and their students." We are excited to leverage the deep relationships Boxlight has with its customers and partners so that we can ultimately deliver long-term value that benefits faculty and students," said Daniel Leis.

Dr Aleksandra Leis added: "For years, EOS professional development programmes have helped improve teacher effectiveness and increase student engagement. " Our partnership with Boxlight gives us the path to dramatically increase our global reach of both human resources and capital and thus continue our mission to support teachers as they leverage technology to improve student outcomes."

EOS Education has a wide range of professional development for English language teachers. For Latin America, soon we will have material available in Spanish based on the needs and facilities of the market or on request. This adds great value to teachers in our market. It should be noted that this does not limit Spanish-speaking teachers from taking these courses in the English language, said Miriam Mendoza of the marketing and communications department for Latin America.
