Latin America. Michael Bosworth has been promoted to Christie's executive vice president of Enterprise. Until now, Michael led Christie's Australia office and was Head of Asia Pacific Sales within the Enterprise division.
"In his three-decade career in the industry, Michael has given a good account of his knowledge and experience in areas such as show rental, theme and amusement parks, control rooms and product distribution markets. I want to congratulate Michael on his promotion to the global role he will hold from now on," said Zoran Veselic, Christie's president and chief operating officer.
Michael began his career in audiovisual in the United Kingdom, working for a rental company for shows that supplied AV material to cinemas in London's West End. With the passage of time he was assuming business development roles in the audiovisual industry. He returned to Australia as Managing Director of Staging Connections, in Brisbane. There he founded his own company, VR Solutions Pty Ltd., which specialized in the design of visualization solutions and grew and opened offices throughout Australia, India and Malaysia.
In November 2013 Christie acquired VRS and Michael moved into the management of Christie Australia and the Asia Pacific sales of the brand's Enterprise division.
