Vintage lighting, intimate escape with homely and warm touch

Latin America. From restaurants and cafes to kitchens and DIY projects, antique light bulbs are just enough to add a classic, vintage atmosphere to any space.

These types of bulbs have a lower Lumen output compared to traditional bulbs used in home installations, often less than 100 lumens. The very warm color temperature they emit approximates orange, typically around 2000° Kelvin. Because of this, antique bulbs are designed to be purely decorative and are not recommended for general ceiling lighting.

According to the company Tecnolite, it is normal to associate certain types of lighting with what we do at certain times of the day: when we focus on our work and on doing our responsibilities with great efficiency currently with the home office, we are usually accompanied by clear and intense light, and when we are preparing to sleep the lighting is dimmer and warmer, as if inviting us to close that book and finally rest.

And what happens when we are at a midpoint? In those instances of the day in which we already finish our work, but we do not want to sleep, it is necessary to look for a balance, especially if we want to have a good time of recreation or recreation.

Taking this into account, it is increasingly common to find establishments with different lighting, coming from a very peculiar source: vintage spotlights.

Inspired by the designs of yesteryear, vintage spotlights have become inevitable in those places that want to create a relaxed but ideal environment for coexistence. If these places have more activity at night, the most logical thing would be to use intense light, right? No, thinking about its use in establishments, because not being work areas, it would be harmful for customers to be exposed to it, it would be more complicated to relax both physically and mentally.

This is where vintage spotlights come into the picture, as they offer visual appeal and a sense of warmth, as well as providing enough lighting to make the space navigable and clear, enjoyable.

However, if they are like the old models, do they consume as much energy as those? Unlike their predecessors, these spotlights have LED technology, which means reliable lighting, greater resistance and savings in consumption, and like other models of this type, their cost has been falling considerably, since they are increasingly accessible, practical and easy to install.
