New manufacturers join ConsorcioTec

consorciotec, icrealtime, dtoolsLatin America. IC RealTime and D-Tools are the latest manufacturers to join ConsorcioTec, the first purchasing group for integrators in Latin America, as preferred suppliers.

IC Realtime is a digital surveillance manufacturer serving the residential, commercial, government and military security markets.

Through a partnership with technology platform Camio, IC Realtime created Ella, a cloud-based deep learning solution that augments surveillance cameras with natural language search capabilities. IC Realtime is part of the parent company IC Realtech, formed in 2014 with headquarters in the United States and Europe.

For its part, D-Tools is a developer of software platforms for documentation and design of accessible and high-precision systems. The company's flagship product, System Integrator (SI), is a robust solution that uses Autodesk AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio to facilitate comprehensive system design, documentation, and project management. D-Tools enables residential and commercial integrators to streamline business processes and increase revenue while reducing the time and costs associated with installing and integrating low-voltage electronic systems.

Max Jaramillo, Chief Integrator Advocate of ConsorcioTec, stressed that the first group of purchases for integrators in Latin America has been very well received, since the goal for this year was to achieve 50 affiliated integrators and as of August there are already 45.

"Our affiliated integrators have a purchasing power of $65 million annually in equipment. We have companies from all over the region, with Mexico and Colombia being the main countries, but today we have integrators even from Bolivia," added Max Jaramillo.

Among the main benefits that the member integrators have received during these months of operation of the group, is the expansion of relations with integrators in the United States thanks to the alliance with USAV, the specialized training through the Integrator Days and the incentives delivered by the preferred suppliers.

"In times of difficulties such as the one we are experiencing now as a result of the pandemic, new opportunities arise. We seek that the preferred integrators and suppliers can do more and better business together," concluded Max Jaramillo.
