Colombia. One of the sectors most affected due to the pandemic generated by Covid 19 has been that of live events, affected by the restriction of crowds of people to avoid the spread of the disease.
Now, with the gradual reopening that has begun to take place in Colombia, although with some restrictions, there is an opportunity for this sector to be reactivated. That is why the construction, industrial and assembly equipment rental company, Centralquipos, has presented a proposal to help the sector in the reactivation.
Brahiam Londoño, in charge of the project in Centralquipos, told AVI Latin America that the idea is to offer small platforms with DM scaffolding for the location of the public in outdoor spaces and that allow social distancing.
"To design this project we applied our experience in multidirectional scaffolding used on stages of large concerts. This proposal is aimed at any live event that has ample spaces," he said.
The available pallets are 1.40 x 1.40 meters for two people and 3 x 3 meters for up to five people. The height is also variable, it can be 1, 1.5 and 2 meters.
Brahiam Londoño pointed out that these platforms for the public of live events have aroused great interest for the reactivation of the sector, because they allow compliance with the biosecurity protocols required by the authorities. There is even an event in Cali confirmed that will use these Centralquipos platforms.
