Latin America. Since childhood Patrick Van de Sande awakened a passion for technology, the same that years later would allow him to develop his own products and found in 1992 the company Audac, in Belgium. This is one of the most recent companies that has been linked to ConsorcioTec as a preferred supplier.
"Today Audac, known because it pays great attention to innovation. After all these years, we continue to believe in the same foundations that have shaped us. These fundamentals allow us to succeed in more than 100 countries. From Belgium to Australia to Latin America," said Patrick Van de Sande in conversation with AVI Latin America.
The objective is to offer audiovisual solutions that exceed the expectations of users. They don't just sell products, they offer complete solutions. This strategy allows them to grow a lot as a company internationally. However, this complete and innovative range of products constitutes one of the most unique strengths in the professional installation market. This means that you will find in your products in bars, restaurants, shops, but also in distribution centers, hotels, large sports facilities, etc. Thus, they have a wide range of solutions, from background systems to foreground systems in small or large environments.
He added, "There are two main pillars we will continue to focus on: simplicity and controllability. With the recent release of AUDAC Touch 2.0, we have developed a pocket-controllable app that allows any user to set up and control their entire system in the blink of an eye. The application, available for free, allows you to create custom dashboards, in which you can control not only the audio system, but also third-party devices, such as a projector, lights or curtains, which makes the Audac Touch application a total solution."
Expanding borders
Thanks to the strong local anchorage in Belgium for more than 25 years, they have managed to approach the European market and build a very solid dealer network in the EMEA market. Through the appointment of the North American distributor and several partners located in APAC in recent years, they have not only been able to strengthen their position in Europe, but have also created a strong brand awareness in these last mentioned regions.
"We have decided to join the ConsorcioTec group because we believe that this community offers us the opportunity to continue developing strategic partnerships in the LATAM region. We remain a family business. This allows us to change quickly in a rapidly changing market. If we have a great idea that can bring a great benefit to our partners (audiovisual integration, installation market, etc.), we start to develop it. We remain very close to our partners and pay attention to their advice and feedback. This is something that will not change in the future," said Patrick Van de Sande.
Strengthening virtuality
The company frequently organizes training courses and meetings in its modern Audac experience center. This inspiring place allows them to strengthen relationships and offer the best possible training to their partners. Next to this building is the lake house, which is the venue for events that can provide up to 80 people with optimal hospitality.
Due to the pandemic and since they continue to consider personal contact with their partners important, they have completely digitized this part of the training and have launched the Audac training platform, which allows partners to receive the well-known qualitative trainings of Audac and invest in their knowledge.
Patrick Van de Sande said: "We are very pleased and proud of the recent launch of the MFA all-in-one audio solution. The MFA series has not only been highly demanded by the market, but before its official launch to the market it had already won two of the most prestigious AV awards. Thanks to its versatile functionality, the 19" media device can serve as a (pre) amplifier, audio source, automation system and audio processor in a single housing, which is exceptional in its kind."
