Get to know the Top 100 airport operators in Latam 2021-2022 report

informe aeropuertos

Latin America. For the first time, the publisher and event house Latin Press Events & Marketing presents a report that studies the sector of airport operators in Latin America, with an analysis of the current situation and future prospects of a key industry for connectivity in the region.

Additional includes the directory of the main operators, with contact details, number of employees, subsidiary concessionaires, revenue, etc.

On the other hand, it has a chapter where the forecasts of the experts are addressed, which focused not only on the technological and connectivity issue but also on the growth of the industry in three scenarios: international trade, reduction of rents due to the pandemic and in a third scenario: capital flows in relation to the risk that financial markets have within the industry.

It is also worth noting that key aspects of the airport industry are included, such as: the growth of the market during the last year, public investment in airport infrastructure by country, position of Airports with more than one million passengers per year, main airport concessions in LAC and the projections of airport investments in Latin America and the Caribbean to 2040.

On the other hand, an analysis chapter on the impact of COVID-19 on airport revenues and industry forecasts is included. This is in addition to the 2021-2023 global passenger traffic recovery analysis compared to pre-COVID-19 levels.

As for the international economic landscape, it has a rigorous investigation on the level of investment, costs (increasing or decreasing) How is the market for this industry in relation to GDP? How are the fiscal fronts? How can deficits or deflations impact investment?

It should be noted that for this year the macroeconomic analysis is maintained taking into account the economic outlook of the region in which a fall of 7.7% of Latin American GDP was proposed in 2020, according to the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean. Scenario that improves for 2021 where a growth rate of 5.2% of the world economy is expected.

Therefore, it became very important to interpret the impact for the industry country by country taking into account the perspective of the airport operators that were part of the TOP 100, along with detailed data on the companies on the board in 2021.

Finally, the report contains valuable information that will allow the actors involved in this industry, directly or indirectly (operators, airlines, contractors, investors, suppliers, among others), to project their activities and glimpse possible projects that may be of interest to them according to their perspective.
