Biamp presented its new Desono DX speakers

Latin America. Biamp launched Desono DX, a new line of attractive, high-performance ceiling and surface mount speakers that will replace the brand's Desono D series speakers.

The Desono DX speakers integrate the most notable features of the D Series, including the same high intelligibility, exceptionally uniform coverage, and the industry's flattest rear speakers, with a sleek, borderless magnetic grille design, uniform loudness across models, and time control. save the installation functions. An additional line of Desono speaker accessories offers even more options to address any installation challenge.

It is a platform that offers extraordinary acoustic performance and unparalleled versatility, making it a reference solution for our customers time and time again. The new Desono DX speaker line builds on the legacy of the D-Series and carries it forward with enhancements that offer even more flexibility and ease of use," said Joe Andrulis, executive vice president of corporate development at Biamp.

DX ceiling speakers have a CCEA-compliant design in accordance with local codes and regulations. New SpringLock clamps reinforced with thick threaded screws allow fastening on thin surfaces and eliminate "drop stop" metal tabs or mounting clamps, improving the installation experience. Desono DX ceiling speakers fit existing Desono accessories as well as a suite of new accessories designed to address a variety of installation variables:

- Installation adjustment rings
- New construction supports

Both the Desono DX ceiling and surface-mount speakers include matching coaxial HF compression drivers for consistent sound quality, as well as eco-friendly packaging for quick unpacking and installation with minimal cleaning.
