International. The set of linear array speakers and ceiling microphones, Adecia, received a certification from Microsoft Teams as an efficient audio solution for medium-sized meeting spaces.
Adecia, a family of communication products developed by Yamaha and officially unveiled last year, passed Microsoft Teams tests for medium-sized rooms, meeting the company's predefined clear and natural audio standards. Albert Kooiman, senior director of device partner engineering and certification at Microsoft Teams, said that in a hybrid workplace, the highest audio quality is critical. In that sense, these products are the solution for medium meeting room applications.
It is important to note that Adecia is made up of four elements: the RM-CG ceiling array microphone, the RM-CR signal processor, Yamaha's trusted PoE switches, and the VXL series in-line array speakers. Where it highlights its dynamic beam tracking technology, which allows the microphone to track voices within the room simultaneously, to ensure that conversations are clearly transmitted to the other side of the conference. Another great advantage is that the configuration of a room can be done through USB, Bluetooth, Dante or analog connections, so this system is flexible enough to adapt to a wide variety of meeting spaces.
Finally, Tatsuya Umeo, CEO of Yamaha Unified Communications, indicated that today's meeting rooms should be flexible, easy to use and provide superior audio for all participants and that, in that regard, Adecia took advantage of Yamaha's world-class acoustic technology, in addition to its extensive experience working with global enterprise customers, to be fully optimized, allowing for clean, effortless conversations, regardless of location.
