Latin America. Av product wholesaler Globallaccess is expanding its operations in Latin America. Recently, its representatives in Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and its main office in Miami, were joined by Jorge Biatturi, who will coordinate the expansion of the company from Uruguay.
Obren Milutinovic, President of Globallaccess and Jorge Biatturi, spoke with AVI Latinoamérica about their vision and the plans they have for the company. Its president and founder recalled that Globallaccess was created to serve the Latino market at the ProAV level. Their added value is that they have people representing the brand throughout Latin America. They are not a warehouse, they are a wholesaler that brings solutions to customers in Latin America, who are mostly integrators or distributors.
There are a dozen brands that they represent today, mainly aimed at videoconferencing, events, corporate facilities, education and rental. Among them are Christie, Barco, Brightsign, Elmo, Optoma and Newline.
"We are a boutique company, we adapt and we are very flexible. The reality is that we are following market trends and really, if there are shortages, we are trying to look for solutions that, perhaps, are not the most traditional. We try to bring new technologies," he said.
The arrival of Jorge Biatturi, aims to develop new channels and create new opportunities in Latin America, thanks to his experience and connections in the market. He will be in charge of the entire region, from Mexico to Argentina.
"The idea is to be able to reach everyone, collaborate with them from a different place than a wholesaler is doing today. Three great knowledge come together in this company. Obren comes from working in wholesale distribution since 2000, I have 20 years of experience as an integrator in Uruguay and at the same time as a brand representative generating channels in Latin America, "said the new member of Globallaccess.
He added that "Between the two of us we are putting together a very important know-how, to try to reach the integrators with tools, that they can count on us, that we are not simply an option of a brand but of a project".
VisionDirect, the integrator company that Jorge Biatturi founded in Uruguay, is one of the main strengths it brings to Globallaccess. "By having the possibility for VisionDirect to show the day-to-day with end customers, it will feed us back with information so that we can support the integrator with real knowledge. The wholesaler and the manufacturer do not know what are the problems that the integrator suffers. VisionDirect is going to be a constant university, any product they want to take out in Goballaccess, we will be able to test it in end users, see the result and be able to transmit it", concluded Jorge Biatturi.
