Savant Expands Subscription Model for Smart Homes

Latin America. At the end of 2021 Savant began a new era of innovation in the smart home with its software-as-a-service (SaaS) subscription business model. Today it is being expanded.

Savant's subscription model provided great value to the owner and an opportunity for custom integration professionals. Savant's base subscription, Savant Essentials, provides access to the latest smart home features and advanced integrations, plus enhanced support and serviceability with the Savant Home Back-Up & Restore feature.

This fall, Savant is bringing additional value to its subscription model by introducing new features such as owner management tools, a software-based intercom service, enhanced private voice control, and smart grids.

A true innovation, the Savant Home Back-Up & Restore feature is part of a Savant Essentials smart home subscription and leverages secure, cloud-based ability to store key smart home parameters and configurations so that vital customer customization features can be effortlessly restored when hardware is upgraded. This feature is the first of its kind for the smart home and offers great peace of mind to homeowners.

Savant Home Manager (available October 2022)
Savant Home Manager offers the first smart home web UI panel designed for the Savant owner. With Savant Home Manager, owners now have access to key system health visibility, online user management capabilities, quick-view camera recordings, active cloud integration status, and access to the product tutorial and FAQs.

Savant Home Manager is designed to help integrators educate new Savant owners about their system's capabilities, as well as provide advanced system management and visibility tools.

Savant intercom service, enhanced secure voice control and smart grids (available in early 2023)
Savant intercom service offers room-to-room communication throughout the house without the need for dedicated intercom server hardware. Savant's intercom service can be added to any Savant smart home with a Savant Essentials subscription and is fully customizable to each customer's needs, and includes features such as user-configurable call groups, call alerts via push notifications, and an optional locator. feature about the distributed audio system of the house.

Savant Secure Voice offers natural language offline processing of voice commands, with activation via hands-free microphones in the room, as well as push-to-talk on the Savant Pro Remote X2. Pressing to speak requires the user to press and hold the voice button on the Pro Remote X2 for active listening to take place. Enhanced voice control can be added to any Savant smart home with a Savant Essentials subscription to activate/control individual Savant scenes, services, favorite channels, volume, and lighting loads.

Savant Network AI is delivered in partnership with Juniper Networks, a global leader in professional networking, and is designed to give custom integrators access to cutting-edge enterprise-grade networking solutions that are easy to design, deploy, and troubleshoot.

Features include contactless provisioning, including automated discovery of Savant devices and dynamic port configuration, network optimization using advanced learning algorithms, and machine learning analysis of the user experience to correlate issues and automatically detect the root cause. Savant Network AI requires a scalable subscription determined by the size of the network.
