Colombia. Comfenalco Antioquia, the Pablo Tobón Uribe Theater and Indub Music open a call for the diploma in 'Technical Production of Events', which provides knowledge in stage assembly, field production and logistics, regulations, security and creative development for the realization of events and artistic shows.
This diploma is for people interested in deepening, working or developing activities related to large-format events, with at least one year of experience directing, coordinating or supporting technical, logistical and field productions. Mikhail Hernández López, manager of Performing and Musical Arts of Comfenalco Antioquia, explains that Medellín and the municipalities of the department increasingly require more professionals to produce high quality events, so Comfenalco Antioquia in its mission to strengthen creative and cultural economies, made an alliance with the Pablo Tobón Uribe Theater and Indub Music to open this opportunity.
This training is free of charge for unemployed people who have contributed 12 months (continuous or discontinuous) to a compensation fund in Antioquia during the last three years; independent who have contributed two years in the same period; or active workers affiliated to Comfenalco Antioquia and for its beneficiaries. For those who do not meet these requirements, it has a cost of $ 1,846,000.
"People will be able to acquire and strengthen the necessary tools to be part of this ecosystem of the entertainment industry, they will be able to access for free or pay for training that will then be paid in an industry that grows every day," highlights the cultural manager.
The classes are alternate, with an intensity of 120 hours, 84 face-to-face and 36 virtual. For the development of face-to-face classes, the facilities of the Pablo Tobón Uribe Theater will be used, located at Carrera 40 # 51-24, La Candelaria neighborhood of Medellín and virtual classes will be live, with autonomous work and deliverables.
