Shure launched the new wireless system Glx-D+ Dual Band

shure

Latin America. Shure today launched its new and improved GLX-D+ Dual-Band Wireless system, offering the perfect solution for guitarists, bassists, vocalists and presenters who want to use wireless technology confidently and hassle-free.

The system's new dual-band wireless technology is a major improvement over the previous generation that more than doubles the available bandwidth, can operate at 2.4 GHz and now 5.8 GHz, providing a reliable and consistent signal by automatically finding and selecting the cleanest channel in both ranges.

GLX-D+ Dual Band intelligently prevents interference and ensures signal drops do not interrupt performance, allowing users to focus on the performance while benefiting from superior, transparent wireless audio.

GLX-D+ is now available in rack, table and receiver guitar pedal mounting options with a wide selection of lapel, headband and handheld microphones, including the legendary SM58®.

What's New in GLX-D+ Dual Band
Dual-Band Technology More than Doubles Available Bandwidth and Intelligently Prevents Interference and Failure.
12-Hour Improved Battery Life
The Receiver Guitar Pedal now features 1/4" input
Always Charged When You Need It
No more uncertainty about battery life with the GLX-D+ Dual Band rechargeable battery. With longer battery life compared to the previous generation, GLX-D+ now offers up to 12 hours of battery life. The system's useful fast-charging capability offers 1.5 hours of use on a 15-minute charge, perfect for when the priority is to quickly get on stage and take action.

GLX-D+ features multiple smart charging options. The new SB904 lithium-ion battery can be charged directly on the benchtop and half-rack receivers or via a USB-C connector on the transmitter.

"Equipped with our award-winning Shure audio technology, GLX-D+ users are guaranteed an exceptional digital wireless audio experience that captures sound and includes everything needed for recharging in the box."
– Mike Nagel, Associate Director of Product Management, Shure

For those who always have a guitar or bass in their hands
With a robust metal design that can be fully integrated into a pedalboard (9 V DC powered), the GLXD6+ Digital Wireless Guitar Pedal makes it easy for guitarists and bassists to use wireless technology without compromising tone or complicating equipment.

The receiver guitar pedal includes a tuner and a new 1/4" input for flexibility when practicing and playing with cable is preferred. Musicians can easily switch between two or more transmitters connected to a single receiver, facilitating transitions between instruments on stage.

Robust RF performance for multi-system installations
The GLX-D+'s dual-band wireless system offers enhanced RF performance, antenna distribution and automatic frequency management for up to 11 half-rack systems in typical environments (16 under optimal conditions). It is necessary to have the Frequency Manager (GLXD+FM) and the directional antenna accessories, which are purchased separately.

Infinitely customizable wireless technology
GLX-D+ tabletop and rackmount systems are currently available with three handheld wireless microphone options, including the legendary SM58, BETA 58A and BETA® 87A.
