Latin America. Genelec is commemorating its 45th anniversary this year with the launch of the Genelec 45 World Tour, which celebrates its sonic precision and the passion that drives it. The expansive tour combines demonstrations of Genelec monitors with a premium listening experience and learning program, complemented by a great global musical collaboration.
The Genelec 45 World Tour brings audio professionals, creators and audiophiles a unique opportunity to experience the beauty and power of truthful sound, wherever you are.
Axis of this tour is the Genelec series | Experience premium events, including listening sessions in the growing international network of Experience Centres, complemented by virtual and hybrid events, events with local partners and some of the traditional trade fairs in between. The Genelec | Experience will not only provide customers with the opportunity to listen to the latest in Genelec studio monitors, but will also allow them to experience and learn about a wide range of stereo and immersive systems in a controlled critical listening environment.
For those who cannot attend Genelec in person | Experience, Genelec will also be making full use of its digital channels throughout 2023 to generate a program of webinars, tutorials, Masterclasses and informal sessions to share knowledge, while the new Genelec Virtual Showroom will allow customers in the professional, audiovisual integration and home applications segments to instantly access Genelec resources and valuable information in a unique interactive virtual reality environment and visually very attractive.
In addition, the Create With Genelec loan campaign will continue in selected countries to help audio professionals, creatives and music educators experience Genelec technology in the comfort of their own environment.
The final element of this tour is the global musical collaboration Genelec | Harmony Tracks, which encourages greater user participation in Genelec's 45th anniversary celebrations. Genelec | Harmony Tracks invites participants to submit a piece of music using their own style, unique sound and local culture to create a new, powerful and unifying composition of international musical harmony.
The winner of the contest will be given a pair of Genelec 8330A monitors, and for each song submitted, Genelec will donate money to Music Fund, an institution that collects musical instruments, repairs them and gives them a new life by donating them to music schools and socio-artistic projects in Europe, developing countries and conflict zones around the world. Genelec will also encourage local partners to get involved, with the aim of collecting and redistributing 45 different types of instruments locally, in a celebration of the wonderful musical diversity of the different cultures of the world.
