New Barco standard for LED videowall screens

barco videowall led

Latin America. More and more control rooms choose direct vision LED technology for their videowall, but its installation can be a complicated task. In a control room, every second of surveillance is very important. The time required in installation should be as short as possible, and once installed, you should also have constant uninterrupted use.

Seeking to create more value for users, Barco took the challenge of developing an LED videowall that revolutionized each concept, from installation to use by final consumers, without forgetting the quality control that critical industries demand to keep processes and claims under control.

To fully respond to customer needs, the first design step was to talk to people and get to know their wish list. The requirements varied greatly depending on who used it. With this in mind, Barco developed TruePix, a revolution in videowalls, designed from the ground up to perfect all aspects of the LED experience, by adding the self-balancing system, which keeps the screen level and frictionless, making the benefits of this system start from installation, through its easy and safe maintenance. and reaching a long service life.

Manuel Navarrete, LVX leader Latin America of Barco comments: "Latin America is witnessing an unprecedented technological change in various sectors, because through the intelligent engineering of Barco TruePix a unique mechanical concept has been generated for precise and risk-free installations, eliminating visual distortion, which can provide more fluid and efficient operations guaranteed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through uninterrupted data streams."

Continuous and long-lasting visualization
Mounting an LED videowall is not an easy task. For continuous use, even the land where it is installed must be taken into account, since imperfections on the surface, both walls and floors, usually cause mechanical stresses in the frames of the tiles, which can bring damage and extra costs in maintenance. In response, Barco developed the TruePix self-balancing system, which efficiently counteracts these imperfections, certifying that the LED videowall is always level and frictionless.

In addition, TruePix is the first videowall that uses the image processing system Infinipix® Gen2, developed by Barco. "This LED processor is a perfect companion to the new videowall, as it provides a simpler work experience, being an option for different areas, ranging from surveillance to entertainment. With this processor, LED monitors are more comfortable in terms of maintenance, without risking image quality and without latency risks, offering users the greatest comfort in any type of content, with uniform colors that significantly reduce eye fatigue, "said Manuel Navarrete.

Similarly, TruePix offers to cover needs that go beyond just the visualization, having a guarantee of up to 10 years with a functionality of 24/7 through uninterrupted data flows, also counting on after-sales services that allow your videowall to be in optimal conditions.

In addition, in relation to Control Rooms, TruePix provides a seamless experience of large video walls, with its optimal display ergonomics for extended use and a complete solution complete with solid software and service.

There are four areas with which Barco brings additional value to the LED videowall for Control Rooms with TruePix, and making a metaphorical comparison with a game of chess, where each pillar is a different piece, these would be the assignments:

Flexible as a horse (intelligent engineering)
The unique mechanical concept, combined with Barco's camera-based alignment tool, ensures a truly perfect installation and a flat screen without mechanical stresses or deformations.

Powerful as a Queen (Smart Processing)
This innovative image processor ensures flawless, smooth and seamless results for any content, true dynamic range in any brightness mode and optimal viewing comfort with reduced eye fatigue.

Watchful as a bishop (Service and connectivity)

With TruePix, Barco's revolutionary breakthrough, the Belgian company aims to continue developing technology that breaks the barriers of the ordinary, always thinking about the end user and companies, ensuring to visualize a bright tomorrow.
