ConsorcioTec to offer Sony's certification at IntegraTEC

consorciotec, integratec

Colombia. ConsorcioTec—a loyalty program for the purchase of technology—is getting ready to participate in the Colombian edition of IntegraTEC, which will take place at the Corferias venue, in the city of Bogotá, on October 26 and 27.

The event brings together professionals and technologies for the integration of three convergent sectors with impact and focus in Latin America: Professional A/V, Systems Integration and Automation. In addition to being a trade expo, the fair offers a space conducive to networking and sharing knowledge with different industry experts.

ConsorcioTec at Integratec: outstanding Sony certification
In the midst of the diverse programming within the event, the purchasing group will offer a learning opportunity for professionals in the audiovisual industry: it is a Sony certification called Professional Video Certification – L1.

This Sony certification is an initiative that delves into the technical principles of audio/video, connectors and interfaces, sensors, codecs, digital cinematography in the world of professional video, and best practices. Such a certification program presents itself as a unique opportunity for those looking to expand their knowledge and experience in the world of professional video.

Gonzalo Gamio M. – renowned audiovisual communicator with a master's degree in Marketing, with more than two decades of experience at Sony – will be the presenter of this certification. With an extensive background in the company, where he has held management roles and worked on various product lines.

In addition, ConsorcioTec will have a pavilion open to member integrators at the fair, where some of the group's partner SMEs will be present, such as Integración Av (stand 511), Ultimate (stand 533) and More Security (stand 537).

Benefits for integrators
Among the many benefits offered by ConsorcioTec to member integrators, reimbursements stand out. Each time they record purchases, suppliers return a percentage of them. The cuts are quarterly and once approved by the manufacturers, they are consigned directly to the associate's account.

It should be recalled that the purchasing group has to date 92 affiliated integrators throughout Latin America and the Caribbean and according to the latest indicators, its purchasing power amounts to US$100 million per year.

An express invitation
In the midst of this meeting in Bogota between manufacturers, integrators and potential customers, Víctor Alarcón, the group's new Project Manager, will be present, who arrives to strengthen the relationship between the partners and open new business opportunities.

"The main objective of participating in this meeting is to invite them to be part of the group and thus promote the purchase of their products through integrators from all over the region, who form a growing team that is achieving something totally new in the B2B field of America," said Alarcón.

Regarding ConsorcioTec's business model, the executive concluded that "we are doing something that no one has implemented before in Latin America, since buying groups are a very common practice in the United States, but not in our region. That is why the possibilities are great and there is fertile ground to work shoulder to shoulder with the integrators of these three industries."
