Brazil. After 40 years of a successful trajectory, in which he carried the name of Brazil high and performed on the most important stages in the world, Sepultura will cease its activities. For this reason, the group formed by Andreas Kisser, Derrick Green, Greyson Nekrutman and Paulo Jr will travel around the world with a farewell tour.
The farewell tour is called "Celebrating Life Through Death" and will last 18 months, passing through 40 cities to celebrate the heavy metal band's 40-year career.
"It's the last tour. We're going to stop because it's the best moment in the band's history," said guitarist Andreas Kisser, who reinforced that the band has a good relationship. "Today we have a fantastic situation between us. We left the place calm and at peace with ourselves. It's not a sad moment, it's a moment of celebration."
To bring all the sound of Sepultura to the ears of their fans in style and celebrate this special moment, the band chose for this tour the AE6100 and AE4100 microphones from Audio-Technica, already known and used by the most diverse Rock bands in the world.
The microphones will pick up the voices of Derrick, Paulo and Andreas and soon the drums, led by Greyson's drumsticks, will also have A-T microphones to convey all the energy and passion of the band.
The CEO of Audio-Technica Brazil, Alexandro de Azevedo, who personally delivered the microphones to the band, commented that "if someone says that they understand something about Heavy Metal, it is because surely at some point in their life they must have listened to Sepultura and understood the power that a Brazilian band had to influence global Thrash Metal". "It's a very special moment for the band and for the world of Rock and we at Audio-Technica are very happy to be part of this historic moment for Sepultura."
In addition to the A-T Mics, which capture the band's audio, Sepultura's Sound Engineer (FOH), Conrado Ruther, will have an ATH-M50X headset to monitor all the details of the sound and faithfully transmit them to the audience.
