Latin America. Sennheiser announced a new integration for Cisco devices that synchronizes the mute state between Cisco systems and the Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling Medium (TCC M).
By leveraging IP control, this upgrade builds on existing audio integration over AES67 and eliminates the need for additional hardware.
The new integration synchronizes the TCC M ceiling microphone with the mute state of Cisco devices, without the need for a dedicated control processor, resulting in an efficient installation process.
Eliminating unnecessary hardware not only reduces deployment costs, but also reduces potential points of failure, resulting in a more reliable system. If the video device is unable to update Sennheiser's mute status, a warning will be displayed on the screen.
"We share a mutual goal with Sennheiser to make our solutions as easy to use together as possible," said Arnaud Caigniet, director of collaboration device alliances at Cisco. "Our new macro for the TCC M is another example of how we are working closely with Sennheiser to integrate our products for easy installation and use."
The TCC M is designed for permanent installation in medium-sized meeting rooms. With this solution, Sennheiser offers an additional design option and increased connectivity to seamlessly include its audible-quality ceiling microphone in a wide variety of meeting rooms and teaching spaces.
It offers features such as TruVoicelift, intelligent noise control, and exclusion and priority zones, all housed in a compact format and offered at an attractive price.
