USA. Digital Signage Expo (DSE), the showcase of digital advertising media, interactive technologies and media networks in retail, received more than 3,400 attendees at its last February fair in Las Vegas; this represents an increase of 70% compared to the fair held eight months ago. Not only the influx of visitors was remarkable, but also the number of sales contacts, qualified and requests for quotes for short-term orders. Attendees admitted they had flown to Las Vegas to identify vendors.
With these results, the next version, scheduled for February 25 and 26, is expected to have a 56% larger space, according to forecasts made based on the companies that have already reserved their space. The event will also share the stage with Interactive Technology Expo/East at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on September 17 and 18, 2008.
