The acquisition, announced by Biamp Systems President Ralph Lockhart, offers the company immediate access to a highly experienced engineering development team, which will enable Biamp Systems to accelerate its research and development programs in digital audio networking technologies.
Creative Audio was founded in Brisbane in 1986 as a technical development group focused on product solutions designed for audio and search communications applications; its products include communications systems for entertainment and large automated control systems for searching people. The acquisition will have no effect on the distribution channel of the products, in this region.
