International. Companies Panamax/Furman and Crestron introduced two new two-way TCP/IP serial controllers for BlueBOLT Power that are also compatible with power management products and UPS solutions.
The M4315-PRO and M4320-PRO tools include both TCP/IP protocols and RS-232 control interface cards, allowing the selection of the most appropriate interface according to the control application. In addition, the two references provide control over eight alternating current outputs with real-time voltage and feedback, plus an internal temperature sensor.
Likewise, if the distributor chooses to use the TCP/IP interface pre-installed with the Creston control system, the functionality of the BlueBOLT is maintained, allowing easy remote access, power management, optional event scheduling, email alerts, and even the possibility of automatically restarting devices connected to the network.
In this way, by uniting the local control and automated systems provided by Creston with the cloud management enabled by BlueBOLT technology, the new modules will provide distributors with greater functionality and accessibility for the installed systems.
Faced with the possibilities offered by the union of these two technologies, Dave Keller, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Panamax/Furman, explained that "the easy integration between these two systems allows full access to the functionalities of the two solutions through a Crestron touch panel".
The official also added that "when combined with the remote power management provided by BlueBOLT, individual outputs or output banks can be controlled from any web browser or enabled mobile device, drastically reducing service calls."
