Peru. After 60 years of experience and becoming a leader in the Peruvian market, Josfel Iluminación was bought by the company Luxiona, a business that is part of the international expansion plan of the latter.
The peruvian company's numbers are quite attractive: it had sales of eight million euros during 2010, the goal for 2011 was ten million euros, 65% of its turnover corresponds to interior lighting and the remaining 35% to outdoor lighting. In addition, it has its own headquarters of 7,000 square meters in Lima and 220 employees.
It has the exclusive representation for Peru of Zumtobel of Austria, Thorn, Bega and Glashutte Limburg of Germany; Formalighting and Space Cannon from Italy; WHO of Slovenia and Delga of Argentina.
With this business, Luxiona installs its first headquarters in the South American Cone, a region in which it hopes to expand and strengthen its presence directly from Peru.
For the Spanish company, its international business represents more than 65% of the total turnover, as its network of offices outside Spain reaches Mexico, China, Poland, France, Italy, Germany, Holland, Portugal and Singapore and has production plants in Spain, Mexico, China and Poland.
