Colombia. To strengthen its presence in Latin America, a region in which it has been present for 15 years, the company originally from Spain Lamp opened a headquarters in Bogotá, Colombia.
According to the company, which is dedicated to architectural lighting and with 35 years in the market, this new subsidiary was born with the aim of providing a closer, more accessible and agile service to the architectural lighting sector in the Colombian market.
With the arrival in Colombia, there are four countries in the region in which they have a presence. The first one they arrived at when they decided to expand to South America was Chile to implement in 1997 the second production center of the firm.
In 2005 it opened its headquarters in Mexico and now in Colombia. In addition, it has a presence in Uruguay through its partner Trios Lighting. In total, sales in the region account for 35% of the company's total turnover.
Lamp's headquarters are located in Terrassa, Barcelona, in an area of 12 thousand square meters and aims to facilitate, through lighting, visual tasks through aesthetic solutions, energy efficient, profitable in their installation and sensitive to the environment.
