Colombia. As well as publicizing the technical specifications of the vehicle that is presented for the first time to the market, the spectacle that is mounted in its presentation plays a very important role to begin to generate a reminder of the brand. And the audiovisual industry is a main part in this regard.
This could be seen during the launch of the Renault Megane III in Colombia a few weeks ago, an event in which an imposing audiovisual show was held thanks to the Watchout video display system.
With the support of Omágica, Watchout distributor for Latin America, the company in charge of this projection was Vinilo Lab, an audiovisual laboratory. Its media director, Eduardo Ortega, explained that his client's intention was to generate the look of an action-packed film.
"For this installation we used Watchout version 5.2, which allowed us to manipulate the corners of the projected image around curved surfaces, such as the wheels of cars. An extra projection layer was added to make the motion effect more realistic and faster. When the car was suspended and lowered to the stage area during the show, the result was perfectly synchronized," he added.
The use of this software for video unification in large presentations is common in cart launching. Fredrik Svahnberg, Marketing Director of Dataton, the company that created the Watchout system, explained: "Dataton is no stranger to vehicle launches, because it is a reliable, easy-to-use and robust system."
