International. A total of 44,151 registered attendees had the last version of the Integrated Systems Europe fair in its tenth version, which was held between January 29 and 31 in Amsterdam, Holland, showing the latest in audiovisual trend for Europe and consolidating itself as a reference in that continent.
There were about 900 exhibitors, which meant a record of participation for ISE as well as the number of attendees, who occupied the 12 rooms of the RAI Amsterdam, in a propitious scenario to talk with new and established contacts.
"What we clearly see now at ISE is a new wave of exhibitors emerging and building their businesses based on their ability to inspire new connections, greater collaboration and, perhaps above all else, wonderful content," said Mike Blackman, CEO of ISE.
During this version of the fair, the first decade of a meeting that began in Geneva to support the growth of the AV industry on that continent was held. As main events there was a tribute to the exhibitors who have accompanied the fair in these 10 years, as well as a party and special conferences that hosted 1,200 people.
"Few of those who attended our inaugural event in 2004 could have imagined how big, interconnected ISE would become in less than a decade. This year we demonstrated that the electronic integration systems industry is capable of challenging economic hardship and encouraging interested societies toward continued growth," Blackman said.
At the end of the fair, the organizers gave a positive part on the expectations for 2014, as about 500 companies ensured their presence next year. Of these, it is highlighted that many are small and medium-sized exhibitors relatively new to ISE.
