International. The products for conference rooms of the company Danish Interpretation Systems, DIS, will be distributed from now on by Shure, with a portfolio in which there are complete solutions for activities such as simultaneous interpretation, discussions, voting, language distribution, online transmission of meetings, and software management.
This distribution is part of shure's purchase of Informationsteknik two years ago, which has Danish Interpretation Systems among its dependencies and which meant for Shure an increase in the conference branch, with the participation of customers in the educational, corporate and government sectors.
Mark Humrichouser, General Manager of Shure's Americas Business Unit, explained that among the company's plans are "to continue building on the fundamentals of the successful DIS brand, utilizing our strong and well-established network of sales representatives across the United States and engaging our talented market development team with these customers."
To face this process, during the last two years they adapted their organization to better fit the needs of customers with the Systems Support Group. Various levels of support service available are prepared to take over the distribution of DIS products.
In this way Shure implemented its traditional line of products, among which are wired microphones, wireless and intra-aural personal monitoring systems, headphones for performers, presenters and recording engineers, among others.
