International. For the celebration of the 200th anniversary of Columbus, Ohio, the Shure company contributed its wireless audio systems for the main event that was held at Columbus Commons Park, an outdoor park in which different artists performed.
The venue was fitted with Shure's UHF-R Wireless microphone systems for impeccable sound and the ability to respond to unpredictable RF conditions. Columbus Commons Production Director Nick Sico explained that they were looking to give an expectation with a high level of entertainment.
"The venue brings together the entire central Ohio community in the heart of the city, in live concerts and entertainment throughout the summer. That's why we seek to have the highest quality equipment and technology and what has been selected has helped us present the people of Columbus with a great show," he added.
Columbus' Live Technologies, a provider of professional audio, lighting, set and video, was designated to provide all support to the facility. The stage is also equipped with SM58, SM57, and SM81 microphones.
Regarded as the "glorious jewel" of the city, the amphitheater puts Columbus as an authentic and reliable venue for outdoor acts and shows. The 40x60-foot stage with high-performance lighting and video equipment, along with Shure's audio technology, has managed to create an impressive venue for community events and for the booming arts in Columbus.
