Latin America. Hotels in Latin America have a new comprehensive solution for rooms, which works in conjunction with Lutron lighting and curtain systems and Orion energy management system technology from VingCard Elsafe.
The solution, developed in collaboration with VingCard Elsafe, allows hotels to offer comfort inside the room and increase their energy efficiency, by automatically turning on the lights and adjusting the blinds and temperature when someone enters the room.
In addition, it allows the automatic shutdown of the lights and adjustment of blinds and temperature when the room is empty, as well as the control of curtains, temperature functions, and lighting dimming from an individual control for the guest.
The manufacturers of this solution emphasize that hotels can achieve between 20 and 30% reduction in energy expenditure thanks to the savings obtained with the combination of lighting control and temperature in the rooms when they are empty.
