Latin America. Countries in the region will be able to have easier access to the Hedgehog 4 Lighting console, developed by High End Systems, thanks to the agreement reached with the manufacturer by Elation Lighting for distribution in North and South America, as well as in India and Southeast Asia.
The new console possesses the flexibility and functionality to excel in a wide range of settings from nightclubs and corporate productions, churches, theaters and other budget applications to mid-sized small size, where lighting professionals require an ergonomic control surface.
Features such as the line interface, familiar programming, command and easy-to-use ergonomic control surface have made the Hog series a powerful autonomous lighting controller, which features a built-in system on equipment with HOG 4 operating system software. The new console also features a 12.1 touchscreen, four Art-Net universes, ten playback faders, and many other features.
As part of its deal with High End Systems, Elation Lighting will also be distributing the Nano Hog 4 lighting console. It features four DMX universes on board or four Art-Net universes, and is designed to be used with computers running the known HOG 4 PC operating system.
Eric Loader, Chief Commercial Officer at Elation Lighting, said: "The Hedgehog 4 is breaking new ground in this market segment, so naturally they were delighted to be involved with it. The feature set and power of this console is ideal for many of our customers' applications."
