Latin AV market grows more than world average

Latin America. InfoComm International's new market study, Professional AV Market Definition and Strategic Study 2014 (MDSS 2014), provides important information that AV industry professionals should know.

Latin America is one of the regions that are growing at a faster rate than the world average, although it is advancing from a very small base. Latin America's representation is expected to grow from 5% to 5.3% between 2012 and 2016 in terms of its global share.

The study expects the professional AV market in Latin America to go from USD $3.80 billion in 2012 to USD $4.77 billion in 2014, and is expected to reach USD$6.00 billion in 2016.

Within the entire Latin American sector, South America covers 70% of the AV market, Brazil 30%, Mexico 22%, Colombia 15% and Central America and the Caribbean 8%.

According to InfoComm. with this market research, professionals and owners of AV companies in Latin America will be able to make decisions for the development of their businesses thanks to the information it contains; in addition to knowing which are the most demanded products and services in the region and in the world. They will also understand which are the economic sectors that implement more AV technologies, as well as the data of the Global Audiovisual market.
