International. Digital Signage Expo appointed an Advisory Board for its 2014/2015 management. This will be organized into five Councils: end users, professional advertising agencies, industry consultants, Digital Out-of-Home network operators and content providers.
This represents a cross-section of professional disciplines, including architecture and construction, business development, content management, content providers, corporate communications, creative development, digital experience, emerging experiences, graphic design, visitor experience and technology, industry consultants, IT, marketing, media/purchasing planning, multimedia, restaurant solutions, revenue management analysis and visual communication.
The purpose of the advisory board is to share their experience with their colleagues, regularly submitting answers to a monthly question as part of "Ask the DSE Advisory Board" (which is published in: http://www.digitalsignageconnection.com/blog/ask-the-board), publish informative articles appearing in industry publications, participate in the DSE Education Conference as speakers or seminar moderators, and have been an active part of the DSE Supervisory Committees. In short, they are the industry thought leaders who understand the importance and have embraced community outreach efforts with DSE designed to help everyone better understand and apply industry knowledge to help them succeed.
