Colombia. Unisys Corporatione announced the opening of the Global Innovation Center in Bogota, Colombia. This center will be focused on designing specialized and tailored IT solutions for Unisys customers around the world. In addition, it will be the second Center of its kind that Unisys implements worldwide, complementing the first facility that is located in India.
Highly skilled solution architects will be responsible for designing and delivering specialized IT services that will enable global enterprises to take on their most critical business challenges and improve the end-user experience for their employees, partners and customers.
From April, this Center will be able to export knowledge and support business in the United States, Europe, Asia and the Pacific and Latin America. Unisys expects an expansion of this center that will include hiring software professionals focused on security and data center solutions. The company's plans call for at least 20 professionals developing solutions by the end of 2015.

The highly trained and specialized professionals who will be part of the team in this center will have access to the latest technologies and methodologies available in the market, to create and deliver solutions in a multilingual environment.
The Colombian capital was also selected by Unisys as the headquarters of this Global Innovation Center, for the benefits it provides to the organization in logistical, economic and political stability. Likewise, the company considered important factors such as economic growth, infrastructure, time difference compared to the U.S., competitiveness and sophisticated organizational culture aligned with the North American culture.

This new center is one of the most recent investments Unisys has made in Colombia as a key country for the development and delivery of IT services. Currently, Unisys has two Service Management Centers located in Rionegro and Bogotá, with more than 700 employees, from where all its Spanish-speaking users are served, providing world-class services.
