Chile. José Ferrera (Vocals), Pablo Ferrera (Bass), Felipe Martínez (Guitar), Carlos Azócar (Guitar) and Álvaro Olmo (Drums), make up the outstanding Chilean Pop/Rock group: Aiken. With a successful seven-year career that includes independent relationships with Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Argentina and two record productions, Aiken has been part of important stages in addition to being the opening number of bands such as Placebo, Molotov and Bersuit. Sennheiser, the audio specialist, becomes one of the members in the band, empowering Aiken's stages and concerts.
"Along with the new Aiken, we have been working on debugging our sound and thanks to Sennheiser today the band will be able to reproduce it and multiply it in the concerts to come," said José Ferrera, vocalist of the band. "I find it incredible that prestigious brands see with interest the professional work of Independent Bands in Latin America... Let the music keep talking," he added.
Aiken uses instrument microphone systems, D1 wireless transmitters for bands and wireless monitors with bodypacks from the successful ew 3000 series, as well as a powerful AC-3 antenna combiner, an A 5000 CP antenna. "We are very happy in this collaboration with Aiken. Our goal is for the band to focus on their music and deliver to their audience in complete confidence, without any worries because they know that Sennheiser will not fail," said Anaseth Martinez, Marketing Manager for Latin America at Sennheiser.
Aiken is working an interesting new piece of music called #ProyectoAldeaGlobal. A great challenge that mixes songs of the group with the energy of different countries, among which are Chile, Colombia, Peru and Mexico; the concept revolves around a series of EPs that work with producers and musical guests from each region, to form a collaborative album that is based on the idea of "Reflecting the journey of the lived" and the transversality of today's Latin American independent music.
