International. The sound of the veteran rock group AC/DC, is complemented by an electrifying show of light effects and vivid colors as their Rock or Bust tour in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
The tour has already captivated fans at 28 European concerts over the summer and will continue with 14 dates in the U.S. and Canada over the next two months. By the time the tour ends in New Zealand in December, the Australian band will have thrilled 2.5 million people in 20 countries.
The group's Lighting Designers Patrick Woodroffe and Cosmo Wilson were in charge of creating the show that will captivate the crowd attending the 55 AC/DC concerts.
Within its digitally controlled lighting system are 120 Philips Vari-Lite luminaires and 272 Philips Entertainment lamps due to their high brightness and innovative features. Philips MSD Platinum lamps, MSR Gold FastFit spotlights and MSR Gold double-bush lamps were also used to ensure an accurate beam of light, with high brightness and consistent temperature.
The lighting provides a more concentrated beam of light and generates less heat on stage which is well received by the artists. State-of-the-art technology allows lighting designers to create multiple lighting effects to complement each note of the band's 150-minute set.
