International. RGBlink announced that the company has joined the HDBaseT Alliance, the industry group tasked with promoting and perfecting HDBaseT technology.
The HDBaseT Alliance was established in 2010 by LG Electronics, Samsung Electronics, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Valens, to promote and standardize HDBaseT, a technology that allows the distribution of multimedia content without compressing ultra HD.
RGBlink supports HDBaseT not only with HDMI/DVI over Ethernet extenders, it also integrates directly into RGBlink processors to ensure the ease of any signal distribution in integrated environments.
RGBlink's Sales Director stated that "Joining the HDBaseT Alliance allows RGBlink to become a stronger part of the AV community, and extends to our standards of approach based on the creation of innovative products."
The company plans to run HDBaseT on future products, including video walls and universal routing processors for larger applications.
RGBlink specializes in video signal processing, seamless private switching, scaling, and advanced dynamic routing. The technology is developed through large investments in ongoing research by RGBlink.
