Rio 2016 Olympic Games will feature Panasonic

Latin America. One more year, Panasonic has signed an agreement to become "Official Partner of the ceremonies" of the Organizing Committee of the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Thus, the company will be responsible for providing turnkey visual operations for the Ceremonies of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio 2016.

Specifically, Panasonic will make available to the organizers more than 100 compact high-brightness projectors of 20,000 lumens (PT-DZ21K2), several switches for live productions M/ E category 2 (AV-HS6000 series) and other visual equipment.

As an official global Olympic partner in the category of visual and sound equipment, Panasonic will help optimize the quality and audiovisual display of the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic Games, which will allow to offer spectacular images to all spectators worldwide. The goal is to offer in Rio de Janeiro the most spectacular ceremonies on the planet.

Under this collaboration, and leveraging not only its cutting-edge technologies but also its extensive experience in the Olympic Games, Panasonic will work closely with the Rio 2016 Ceremonies Department and production company CC2016 (Ceremony Cariocas) to make the event a success. Panasonic will be responsible for providing a turnkey visual solution, which will include the design of the projector system, technical advice, installation, and use and on-site maintenance of the visual solutions for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
