Brazil. Panasonic Brazil has installed a complete digital signage solution in the Baixada Arena consisting of a robust IP system that distributes content through 220 LED monitors located in the accesses, corridors, boxes and consumption centers of the stadium, headquarters of the popular football team Atlético Paranaense.
The system, dubbed the Digital Media Center, uses Panasonic digital signage technology to integrate content into a robust server that is managed from a control center. The messages are distributed through a reliable IP platform to reach the 220 screens that guide the visiting public about the event in turn with information of general interest, promotions of the sponsors, repetitions of the main plays so that they do not lose detail of the matches or the live images of the concerts that take place in this stadium.
The system is ready to operate long-term, with high image quality and attractive cost-benefit performance.
"The Digital Media Center has several uses and can be adapted to the needs of the client. Therefore, it adds value to the contents and is very interactive with visitors," said Francisco Pereira, manager of the System Solution area at Panasonic Brazil.
Since 2014, the Arena Baixada already had a pair of giant Panasonic LED screens, of 77m2 each, which were easily integrated into the new digital signage system.
Located in the city of Curitiba, in the State of Paraná, the Baixada Arena was renovated to host several matches of the recent 2014 World Cup. The stadium, home of Club Atlético Paranaense, is the first in Latin America to have a retractable roof.
