Christie's Boxer Line has new members

Latin America. Christie has scored a new technical KO with three new Boxer models armed with 2K resolution and with 20,000, 25,000 and 30,000 central lumens. Available now with multiple software configurations, the Christie Boxer Series offers various resolution and brightness options for different budgets. Upgradeable to higher brightness, resolution and performance, the user pays for what he needs today but with an eye on his future needs.

Mike Garrido, Christie's senior product manager, said: "When Christie launched the first Boxer projector we knew we had just created a champion. Conceived, designed and built from the ground up in our state-of-the-art research and development facilities, the Christie Boxer Series is the culmination of years of experience working in close collaboration with professionals from the world of audiovisual and show rental to get to know their specific needs and expectations first-hand."

The three new models are born with the same technological and quality standards of the multi-award-winning Boxer 4K30, and include HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, 12G-SDI and fiber input."

Compared to the other projectors in their category, those in the Christie Boxer Series stand out as the most elegant, bright and lightweight high-performance professional projectors. Ready for combat with a weight of 72.5 kilos, they include single-phase current, warping and blending as standard, possibility of omnidirectional installation and a wide spectrum of connection options.

All these aspects and features make the Boxer Series projectors beat by KO and points in high-impact visual events. The Christie Boxer Series is available in multiple software configurations and offers a variety of brightness, resolution and budget options.

A standard look of all Boxer 2K models is Christie TruLife Lite electronics. With 300 Mpx/s, the projectors offer superior 2K processing for video and HD sources, and a floating-point processing engine equivalent to a 25-bit fixed-point processing resolution, making it possible for Christie TruLife Lite to offer greater dynamic range and superior scaling. Result: an exceptional visual experience.

Upgradeable in the field, a few minutes of updating are enough for the user to increase the operating capacity by accessing features present in the other projectors of the Christie Boxer Series.

The Christie Boxer 2K20, 2K25 and 2K30 offer:
A compact, lightweight and rugged design for easy transport, shipping and installation.
360-degree omnidirectional installation possibilities.
Full connectivity: 3G-SDI, DisplayPort, HDBaseT™, DVI, HDMI, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, 12G-SDI and fiber input.
Christie Twist software® for warping and image blending, as standard.
Proven 3DLP® image quality and reliability.
Simple rigging and stacking.
A glance is enough to check the status and information about lamp hours, voltage, temperature or warnings, which can be received directly on a mobile device or a web browser.
The integrated NFC (Near Field Communication) allows the user to track information about the lamp by mobile device.
Built-in toolkit.

The new Christie Boxer models will be available in the summer of 2016, with a three-year warranty for spare parts and labor.
