Latin America. Boxlight launched its new line of P12 projectors that offer educators four easy ways to achieve stunning images and graphics for classroom teaching. In addition to having standard projectors, the line includes projectors with laser technology, HD resolution and ultra-wide (ultra-wide).
The new P12 line consists of 12 interactive and tactile projectors, as well as models that only include Stylus and non-interactive. Stevan Vigneaux Director of Product Management for Boxlight, placed special emphasis on three models: P12L laser projector with ultra short throw lens, P12LU ultra-wide laser projector and the P12B projector with ultra short lens.
"The reality is that many schools are in the stage of equipping classrooms with large interactive displays," he said. "These three models offer teachers the ability to create such large areas with touch technology, allowing up to 10 students to collaborate on the projected image, while engaging with clear, highly detailed images that are large enough to be seen from anywhere in the classroom."
In addition, the lighting of the P12L and P12LU laser projectors saves time and resources – there are no lamps that can fail and there are no lamps to change. The useful life of a laser projector is up to 20 years, this reduces time and worries about maintaining them.
All P12 interactive projectors are solutions with full hardware and software features including MimioStudio™ education software and three MimioMobile™ connections. When projectors are used with the mimioMobile software and classroom version, teachers can conduct collaboration and assessment activities at the front of the classroom or on almost any student device. In addition, the projectors' analog and digital audio and video connections ensure compatibility with virtually any PC, users can work from a Mac, Windows or Linux OS.
